Deere & Company ( brand name John Deere ), an Amarican corporation, was founded by John Deere in Grand Detour, Illinois in 1837.  The company started out as a manufacturer of small tools such as pitchforks ad shovels. It is well known for manufacturinig agricutural, construction, and forestry machinery diesel engines, drivetrains ( axles, transmissions, gearboxes ) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment.  It is famous with the company’s slogan is “ Nothing Runs Like a Deere”, and its logo is a leaping deer, with the words “JOHN DEERE” under it.
