Original dial in good condition. Signed Imperial.
SIZE:
29 mm (not counting the crown), 34  mm long (lugs to lugs).
BAND:
new, leather 16 mm.

A LITTLE HISTORY:
"The Imperial Watch Company was formed at La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland in 1875, and they exported Swiss watches in the 1920's through importer Bayer, Pretzfelder & Mills. Many watches of this era were marked both Buren Watch Company and Imperial on the plates. An associated company Louis Goering registered the name Imperial in 1890. On March 1, 1966 Hamilton Watch Company USA acquired Buren Watch Company, Switzerland.
The imperial watch company was located it the same area as The famous architect Le Corbusier, the writer Blaise Cendrars and the car maker Louis Chevrolet were born there. La Chaux-de-Fonds is a renowned centre of Art nouveau. Pierre Jacquet-Droz and his family is one of the most famous watchmakers of this time to come from the same location.
