Renowned for his neo-appropriation artworks, New York-based Nate Lowman was tapped by luxury boutique Just One Eye for a unique collaboration: a collection of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars featuring Lowman’s artwork. Featuring latex, acrylic and high-gloss alkyd paint on un-primed canvas, the shoes were each cut from a single piece of artwork by Lowman himself before being lined in calf leather and attached to a 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star soles by a craftsman in Los Angeles.
