Here we have a British Army issue No. 5 Cooker
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MULTIPLE LISTING SO YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE BUT A SIMILAR ONE
Runs on LPG (propane / orange Calor gas bottles)
Very solid construction, mostly in heavy gauge steel & aluminium.
Lid folds open to make a preparation table topped with stainless steel.
Central gas valve with air mixture control.
Separate burner controls for each of the four burners.
Originally dual fuel, the compartment to the side used to house, I believe, a petrol tank, removed by the army presumably on safety grounds!  It's now useful for utensil / hose and regulator storage.
Packs down neatly to a relatively compact 100x60x26cm weighing a fairly hefty 65kg although it does have four heavy duty handles to aid in moving it around.

This is a no-nonsense, beast of a cooker, plainly designed to be virtually indestructible and to heat a lot of food very quickly with the minimum of fuss and set-up time.  Forget feeble, mass produced, biscuit-tin steel camping stoves that take hours to heat a tin of beans.

Perfect for Scout camps or festival catering. (I use them with my Scout group)

You will need a gas hose and regulator.  I have some military issue hoses available separately, please see my other listings.  PLEASE NOTE THE HOSE AND REGULATOR SHOWN IN THE PICTURES IS NOT INCLUDED.
Tested as functional but should be certified by a Gas-Safe engineer before use.
These are used items and as such are not perfect.  They may have regimental markings, dents, scratches, heat discolouration, imperfect catches, missing control knobs (easily replaced) The cables and valves will be intact.  They are steam cleaned before dispatch so you won't get some grease laden horror story but equally please
expect to have to do a small amount of titivating to bring your camp stove to end all camp stoves back to it's full, former glory.

Now replaced by the MOD with the latest, new fangled thing which requires a generator to run as well as hydrocarbon fuel.  Far too much hassle.  This is
probably the last batch of these that will be available.  Grab one of these legendary camp stoves whilst you still can.

I will ship these on a pallet due to the size and weight hence the delivery cost.  You are welcome to collect if you wish by prior appointment.

Delivery charge is to most of mainland UK.  Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands will be more expensive, please contact me before purchase for a delivery quote.

Please see my other listings for the gas hose, oven, pans, baking trays and more. Should you wish to purchase additional items they can probably be added to this pallet saving you further shipping charges.  Please message me for a quote.

I've had to increase the shipping charge recently as the cost of sending a pallet has rocketed.  Please bear in mind that eBay take 10% or more of what I charge you meaning I make a loss on the transaction.  The real cost to me including eBay's fee is £86.90  This is outrageous and I have done my best to mitigate by absorbing over £10 of the cost myself.  This doesn't even include an actual pallet, which are not free either!  If at all possible I would prefer it if you could collect.  You are also welcome to arrange your own courier to collect. It may be cheaper for us both.  I am happy to pallet, strap and wrap for courier collections.
