New Lower Price, Great Quality, Excellent Value.

Welcome to the sale of Sterling Silver Amethyst Earrings, with polished bezel set with a 4 mm round Genuine Amethyst Stone.

These are manufactured by us at Lu V Jewellery and supplied to various Jewellers around the UK, but have now been discontinued, hence the reduction in price to clear our wholesale stock.

These are now being offered at a reduced price (RRP £29.00 in 2018)  Current Estimated RRP £45.00 Approx.

We are now selling at less than Wholesale.  This is so we can cover or costs of manufacturing and our selling costs on eBay.  Whereas melting down will cause us to make a heavy loss, as the stones will probably not survive the process, and we will be left with just 2.5 grams of silver.

We try to post on the day of purchase, but on rare occasions need to travel on business which can extend the dispatch time by up to 4 days. Please contact us in advance of purchasing if it is important for you to know the day of dispatch.

Apologies:  We have now added a contribution for the ever increasing postal costs.

The total weight of the earrings are 2.5 grams approx.
The earrings are set with 4 mm Round Genuine Amethyst.
Stones are claw set, (Claws are on the underside of the stone and not on top, therefore not subject to any wear or damage.)
Diameter of Earrings are 10.5mm approx.
The earrings are supplied with a pair of heavyweight backs or Scrolls, not like some of the light flimsy backs currently on offer. (Please note, there is an indentation on the stem of the earring, when putting on the back allow to click into the indentation. Do not push beyond this point as this will make the earrings less safe, and potentially increase the chances of losing the earring.)
Sterling Silver (925 parts per 1000 or 92.5% pure - Other main constituent would be Copper).
These earrings made in our own factory and conform to all UK hallmarking requirements. Please note we as a company are registered with the London Assay Office, and therefore comply with all the current laws.
NB. Our normal Refund/Exchange Policy still applies as we have the ability to professionally clean earrings that on rare occasions may be returned, so you may buy with confidence.

The earrings have very low porosity, which means there are very few tiny air bubbles trapped in the casting. Too many air bubbles will cause weakness within the earrings making them liable to break. Many manufacturers have to rhodium plate their stock to hide the poor finish, we never do. Our stock is only ever polished.

A couple of do's and don'ts
Always spray perfume, hair/body spray and allow to dry before putting on any jewellery. (This is the main cause of silver turning black)
The earrings are made using anti-tarnish silver, which will keep the silver colour for longer, but please when not being worn return it to the small cellophane bag that it was supplied in, as the tarnishing of silver is caused by exposure to the elements (pollution etc.), and the less it is exposed the longer it will stay looking good.
Do not use liquid cleaners (i.e. silver dip etc.) these leave a film on the surface and over time will damage the earrings.
A soft clean cloth is good, or for a special clean, use a silver cloth, many are for sale on Ebay, and most work very well. I tend to attach a cleaning cloth to a workbench/table-top or similar with a bulldog clip and holding the cloth tightly run the item into all the groves of the earrings, cleaning can be done in seconds that way.

The earrings are guaranteed for 12 months, and supplied with a gift pouch.

Information which may help your choice, as these earrings are available in Amethyst, Blue Topaz, Citrine, Garnet, Peridot, plus Pink and White Cubic Zirconia. please see other listings.
