UKIYO-E WOODBLOCK ART MEN'S ・WOMEN'S ・UNISEX T SHIRT Ario-maru (有王丸) by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, 1833–1835. The print is depicting Ario-maru fighting a giant octopus on the seashore. Ariomaru
was a servant of Shunkwan, a priest exiled to an inhospitable island by
Kiyomori for plotting against him. Shunkwan's exile was a subject of No
drama and it was often a theme for illustrations. In this particular scene the loyal servant Ario-maru is fighting off the giant octopus that was about to kill Shunkwan (sounds like a really inhospitable
island to me!) Hand printed in England. Avalable on Unisex Tee or Women's Tee. Female model wears a size Small and is 174cm/5′ 8½″ Tall, Bust 82cm/32½″, Waist 60cm/23½".
