The second coin in Amber Lunar series presents the Year of the Snake, 2 Oz pure silver with mintage of only 999 pieces worldwide, and a real amber stone inserted.

The coin reverse depicts a very detailed snake in high relief surrounding a symbolic 'pearl of wisdom' represented by a semi-circular amber stone insert in the coin. The inscription 'AN NEE DU SERPENT' and the year of issue also appear in the design in the top edge. The coin’s obverse depicts the Togo Republic emblem.

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2013 is the Year of the Snake, which begins on February 10, 2013 and ends on January 30, 2014. The Snake is the sixth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal Signs. It is the enigmatic, intuitive, introspective, refined and collected of the Animals Signs.
