Su Xiu  – Suzhou embroidery dates back 2,000 years. It is famous for its beautiful patterns, elegant colors, variety of stitches, and consummate craftsmanship. Its stitching is meticulously skillful, coloration subtle and refined.

This antique silk embroidery is titled "The Yangtze River has received the Grace of Spring".

This beautiful genuine silkworm textile embroidery is in excellent condition and never been framed. It remains mounted on its original rice paper and although the rice paper has cracked with age, the silk has remained fully intact. The scene is depicting peasant fishermen’s life along the Yangtze River in exquisite detail and colors.

The actual silk textile size is 13" X 10" (33cm X 25cm). It is ready for framing.
