81 Original Vintage Buttons
  • Majority of buttons appear to be Vegetable Ivory buttons.  Other buttons are vintage plastic or vintage wood.  
  • Button designs include: embossed, carved, dyed, stencil, anchors, flowers, geometric, fabric appearance, wavy lines and circles. 
  • The tiny precise fine line detail on these buttons is amazing!  The craftsmanship is incredible!  The fine detail can be seen much better in person. 
  • Buttons are from a family member's collection.  She collected buttons for decades.  Because the buttons have been in the family for decades, I know the buttons are vintage.  Perhaps some of the buttons are antique, I don't know for sure. 
  • Some matching buttons: 3 with anchors, photo 2, the 3 buttons with 4-holes. Can also be seen, photo 12, bottom right.  3 black buttons with fine lines, photo 3.  Two carved brown buttons, photo 4. 
  • Back of the button collection can be seen, photos 7 & 8. 
  • Beautiful buttons for collecting, crafts, jewelry, clothing. 

DIAMETERS

  • Smallest 1/4" to the largest of 1 1/8" 

  • 6.35 mm to 28.58 mm


CONDITION

  • Good condition.  

  • Buttons have scuffs, scratches, chips, cracks, soiling and wear.  

  • Some of the buttons have little cracks.  The worst of these are: button with 5 squiggly lines, a crack on front left, photo 3, right, middle.  Button with carved square on front, a crack on back, photo 8, far right, 3rd from bottom.  Two little tan round buttons, cracks on back, photo 8, 3rd from top, 2 buttons far right.  

  • I am pointing all this out, so you will be aware that the above, is the worst, regarding cracks.  The remaining buttons, are not to this degree. 

  • Overall, the above issues are minor, this beautiful original vintage button collection, is in good condition.
