I have been making hiking sticks, trekking poles, canes, and festival staffs for 25 years. Each staff is kiln dried for strength and to keep the wood from splitting. Hand crafting retains the natural beauty of the wood and lacquering preserves this for years to come. Each staff is hand created and accented with a rubber tip for stability on any surface. I love to make these trekking poles so they will last for years to come. When I pick up one of these naturally grown Ozark staffs, I do not know what it will look like until I work with it for a while and explore the natural potential of the grain and the root pattern.
