Frank Paul’s sci-fi renderings were featured on the covers of popular 20th century magazines like Amazing Stories and Science Fiction, and he’s gone down in history as the illustrator of the first Marvel Comics issue in 1939.
According to Visual News, his images appeared long before the novels of Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke and Forrest J Ackerman.
