This wonderful novel about an American priest who becomes a Cardinal, a Prince of the Roman Catholic Church, is from the author of The Perfect Round, The Great Snow, Stout Cortez,  and Science vs. Crime.  The book is in good to very good condition;  the spine is tight and the covers are clean with minor scuffing and/or bumping.  The pages are clear and easily readable with minor  yellowing or fading.  The un-clipped dust jacket has moderate chipping and is in fairly good condition. 

The book is about 6" x 8-1/2" x 1-1/4", 579 pages,  and about 2-3 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
