This is an authentic military frock/coat/jacket that comes from the estate of former United States Attorney General Elliot Richardson. I am unsure if the coat was issued to Elliot Richardson as it may have belonged to his father (Maurice Richardson) or his grandfather who was also named Maurice Richardson. The coat is made by Macullar Parker Company and is tagged on the inner top collar and on the inside of the pocket located on the inner right area of the coat. The tag on the inner pocket features the name Richardson with additional writing. Each sleeve features detailed designs with bullion crossing rifle insignias. There are thick shoulder boards on each shoulder. The lower back area is fishtailed. Measures approx 18 1/2 inches from shoulder to shoulder, approx 24 3/4 inches from shoulder to sleeve, approx 17 3/4 inches from armpit to armpit and approx 42 1/4 inches from the back top collar to the bottom of the fishtail. The outer area of the coat has a couple of tiny mothing holes. The inner area of the coat has some fraying on the inner collar, armpit area and on the inner lining. There are no missing buttons. The buttons are stamped Superior Quality on back. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. There is some glare in the photos that could not be avoided. Has been stored inside of a room temperature/smoke free/pet free home. Shipping and handling is $19.90 within the Continental United States only.
