VW T5 TRANSPORTER PRINTED T-SHIRTS.
These T-shirts are available in two unique graphics both designed to celebrate the widely loved T5 version of the
VW Transporter, whether it be your trusty work van, day van or camper van.
Whilst we can all admire the early vans, lets face it you don't have to look far to find a 'Splitty' graphic, the modern vans
have been neglected. This is my modest attempt to balance things out!
'A KIT FOR LIFE' is inspired by the Airfix style kits we have all probably built and played with.
'NINE T5 VANS' is inspired by the iconic black & white 'Twelve Cars' by Andy Warhol.
The graphics are an applied DST (Digital Screen Transfer). These are produced using a
combination of digital print and screen printing techniques resulting in a transfer that is detailed,
vibrant, durable but soft to the touch flexing with the T-shirt fabric. They are applied using a quality
'Stahls' heat press with controllable heat, pressure and time controls ensuring a uniform and
consistent application for each T-shirt.
I'd recommend washing at 30/40deg C to achieve long term colour strength.
Always iron on reverse at a low setting or over another piece of cloth such as a Tea Towel.
The 'Bella + Canvas' Unisex Jersey Crew Neck T- shirts are made from 100% Airlumed combed and ring-spun cotton.
The process creates a very tight weave giving a smooth consistency and provides the perfect material to print on. The T-shirts
are made using side-seams rather than a tubular cut, producing a more tailored finish.
At present the T-shirts are only available in Large which measure 29" in Length and
22" in width (from side seam to side seam at under arm height)
T-shirt standard sizes vary widely but the male model shown is 6ft tall and the Female model shown is 5ft 8 inches tall.
