DESCRIPTION

Hygiene Winged Rubber dam Kit

Hygiene Rubber dam system provides a complete solution for General Dental Procedures. The few minutes that it takes to apply dental dam is more than compensated for by the time saved during treatment. Properly placed dam improves visibility and protects cheeks, lips, and tongue. Improved access and visibility allows treatment to be completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Winged clamps

The Dam is hinged to the wings of the clamp outside the patient’s mouth. The dental dam, dental dam clamp and frame are all simultaneously positioned into the patient’s mouth. Once applied, the dam is stretched off the wings of the clamp.

Dental Dam Forceps

Safely position clamps with our light - weight, matte finished forceps

Dental Dam Punch

Ainsworth-style punch with five hole sizes, punches cleanly through any gauge dam

Wedjets
Wedjets® elastic stabilizing cord provide easy and quick retention of the dam. No clamps are required. Available in latex and non-latex.

HYGENIC® Fiesta®Color Coded Clamps

Each clamp is individually color coded for unmistakable identity. Experienced and novice assistants will appreciate this time saving identification when using Fiesta Color Coded Clamps. For convenient storage, the 9 color-coded clamps are placed on 9 matching color coded pegs on the stainless steel organizer

Instructions for Use:

Dental Dam Clamp: Tie a safety ligation (dental floss) around the clamp leaving sufficient floss to retrieve the clamp should the clamp break or become dislodged. Failure to follow these instructions will compromise patient safety. Pre- tie the clamp to insure that there is a four-point contact with the anchor tooth’s proximal surfaces. Using Winged Technique, the dam is placed on the frame, and the clamp is placed on top of the dam, while the dam is stretched over the wings of the clamp. The clamp forceps secure the clamp in place and the dental dam is slipped off the wings of the clamp.

Dental Dam Forceps: Engage the clamp by placing the tips of the forceps into the holes in the clamp. Spread forceps open so slight tension is applied to clamp. Overextension could cause distortion of the clamp and premature wear, including breakage.

Dental Dam Punch: Punch dagger/pin must be sharp and clean to prevent nicking or tearing the dental dam. For maximum cutting efficiency, remove any residual rubber from punch disc with an explorer. Using cutting disc, select appropriate hole size. Use a dental dam template or rubber stamp to mark the hole positions on the dental dam. To properly punch the holes in the dam, align the dagger/pin with the hole marks on the dam, puncture the dam material while pulling the dam up over the point of the punch.

Dental Dam Frame (Plastic): Place the dam on top of the frame and stretch the material tautly while securing the dam on retention tines (points) (Do not puncture `
