The Safe Way To Treat Your Wood

Eco Safe, Non Toxic, water based, zero VOC, zero odour wood treatment which is harmless to people, pets, animals, plants and soil.

Safe Wood Treatment is a high concentrate formula that you, the end user simply dilutes with water.

One easy application penetrates and bonds to the wood for its lifetime.    

No flaking, scraping or re-applying, no maintenance, ever !

It is formulated using special natural ingredients that penetrate the wood fibres and lock the wood tannins in place, this then protects the wood from mould, wet and dry rot, fungal growth and wood boring insects.  Tannins are the trees original defence system against bugs and fungus while growing.   

Using a safe mordant, the wood treatment solution permanently binds tannins to the wood fibres. This makes the wood resilient to fungal growth, as it simply will not support wood decaying organisms, like algae and mould. In turn the treated wood also becomes indigestible to insects, so they will simply look for un-treated wood elsewhere.

The longevity of the wood treatment is second to none. The permanence of the treatment by utilising the mordant, means that you only require one application, as the defensive character will last the lifetime of your project.

RNR Safe Wood Treatment is Safe and it works.

Use it on new wood, pressure treated wood, older wood that is free from infestation and previously treated wood. It is great for log cabins, barns, stables, sheds, decks and fences. It is even safe to use in marine applications, such as docks and wharfs.

Safe Wood Treatment does not seal the wood, but allows it to breathe and age naturally, maturing in the normal way to a silver grey to a dark brown, depending on the species of wood and the origin of growth.

Large size makes 25 litres of wood treatment and covers 80 to 115 square metres.

Apply using a brush, roller, low pressure garden sprayer or dip.
