Ferrari 348 is the 3rd generation of V8 machine produced by Ferrari with rear mid-ship engine driven by rear wheels and 2-seater sports car from 1989 to 1994.
To succeed 328GTB, the Ferarri 348tb made its debut as another mass-marketing sports car at the Frankfort Show held in 1989. The body designed by Pininfarina has air-intakes on both sides, which creates common image with Testarossa. The chassis layout is consisited of steal pipe and steal frame, and the V-8 cylindered 4 valve DOHC engine is mounted lenghtways at midship position.
"348" car name is derived from the power unit of 3,400 cc and 8 cylinders. And "t" is the Italian "Trasversale" which means the Horizontal type transmission. "b" represents the coupe model "Berlinetta", "s" represents the open model "Spider".
