One of a kind abstract vision created from Neolithic/Paleolithic artifacts that are 300-15,000 years old.

The majority of stones are "Chips" or the spalling created as Indigenous people or Native American Indians worked to shape and sharpen arrowheads and atlatl points from chert stones and flint. The chips were sorted by color and shading, then arranged to make the background.

The two full length lines, left to right, are pottery sherds. These sherds are the broken remnants of clay pottery, some may have engraved marks. Some sherds were shaped a bit to fit into pattern. The atlatl point (arrowhead) in the center was found in its natural state (in situ), in central Louisiana between the Sabine and Red river valleys.

All were surface finds on ground disturbed by some form of agriculture or construction. NONE were dug.

The frame is a 2-1/4" deep shadow box type handmade from pine lumber and decorative trim. As with most listings, this piece will donate at least 10% of purchase price to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
