The Story of this Item

In the late 70's MEGO Corp was manufacturing the World War II figures in the US and Europe. In the US these figures were sold under the MEGO name and the cards were Army brown with yellow highlights. In Europe these figures were sold under the Lion Rock name, a MEGO subsidiary, and looked very much like the US cards.  As near as can be figured Lion Rock had an enormous overstock of these figures so they re-manufactured the cards to what is seen in the images and sold them to American 5 and 10 stores such as Durham's, Roses, and Woolworth's. Some people consider these figures to be MEGO knock-offs when in actuality these are re-carded figures.  The figures themselves probably say Lion Rock or MEGO on them somewhere.

This is a 1979 FW Woolworth, 7 inch, World War II, Brave Soldiers, US Fighting SeaBee action figure.  The overall condition of the item is New and Good in a Factory Sealed package.  The figure itself is in Excellent condition in a Factory Sealed package.  The package is in Good condition for it's age with Moderate wear.  The card s in Good condition with Mild wear to the edges and is a little warped in the middle.  The graphics front and back are bright and crisp with no fading. There are a few small creases an the front and back of the card around the peg hole. The blister is in Fair condition and Factory Sealed to the card with Moderate wear.  The blister is yellowed and has two cracks at the bottom and one crack at the upper right hand corner.  This item would make an awesome addition to any collection.
