This card is the
pinnacle of Pokemon; The Rarest & First Trophy card from the First Official
Pokemon Tournament.

This was only
awarded to the winners of the First Official Pokemon Tournament in Japan,
1997. According to Tournament documentation, only 4 copies were
awarded.
· Not only was this the first Trophy card, it is one of the rarest
cards in all hobbies! Rarer than The Pikachu Illustrator, Honus Wagner,
Alpha Black Lotus, Gold Nintendo Cart; literally rarer than all Holy Grails!
· The 1997 version is also significantly rarer than the 1998 &
1999 Pikachu Trophies. The text body is different for each release, and
only the first row in the photo below are True 1997 Pika Trophies!
· All Current World Championship Pikachu Trophies are based on this original design!
