Beautiful Unique Oxblood Marble

Oxblood, or deep rust red color.

The oxblood is a deeper red, in person, and the beautiful light purple can be seen.

Light purple lines and shading are located on bottom edge of the two largest red stripes. This beautiful light purple color is just below the surface of the marble. Light purple is challenging to see in my photos. Photos 1 - 5.

Oxblood thin lines and black thin lines, on the surface. Some thin lines also just below the surface.

White base, with air bubbles below the surface.

Diameter - .62" or 15 mm

Stored in a drawer for decades.

Marble is from a family member's collection. He received marbles from his grandfathers, father & a uncle.

Grandfathers born in late 1890s, father & uncle born in early 1930s & family member was born in the late 1950s.

I am telling you all of this, to let you know about the history of this marble. This marble is from family members who were children in the early 1900s, the 1930s, 40s, 60s & 70s.

Family members are from Germany, England, Ireland, Holland and the eastern and Midwest areas of the U.S.

CONDITION

The majority of the marble surface is shiny & smooth.

Marble has some tiny chips. I see a few that are about 1/16" in diameter. The remainder are smaller.

Overall, this is a very beautiful and unique marble.
