Peddinghaus released it as 2. Kompanie Czechoslovakia 1945 and rank as Oberfeldwebel. It may likely be from 3. Kompanie France 1944. The s.Pz.Abt. 503 (Heavy Tank Batalion 503) was the sent to France to repel the Allied invasion. By September 9, 1944 with just 2 of the original 26 King Tiger's remaining, the 503rd was ordered out of France. King Tiger Number 334 met its end when it ran out of fuel and with no hope of re-supply the crew destroyed it. Kurt Knispel may be its commander and Knispel's last rank was Feldwebel.
