Overview:
A richly detailed, day-by-day history of significant Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force events from the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War was one of the defining events of the twentieth century, and a formative part of the turbulent 1960s. The Vietnam War: A Chronology of War is a lavishly illustrated, all-services chronology of the war—serving as both a reference tool and a handsome addition to any military history collection. This book presents a day-by-day summary of events from the prewar role of military advisors to the fall of Saigon in 1975. With a foreword by Vietnam veteran and U.S. Senator Jim Webb, USMC (Retired), this volume includes one of the most powerful voices from this often-unsung generation of servicemen and women.
