ROSSIGNOL BUFFALO BILL PHAETON

Up for sale, an exceedingly rare c.1895 Charles Rossignol tin wind-up Buffalo Bill Phaeton. Among the earliest, and definitely harder to find automotive toys ever produced.
Exquisite attention to detail in the construction of this magnificent toy, with vibrant colors and embossed details. Equipped with a clockwork engine, when in operation has the car travelling back and forward.
It stood the test of time, but not without faults, including touched-up areas, such a Buffalo Bill himself. To the front right side, it is missing a small bit of tin, and same area but on left side of the car, has a small stress crack to the tin.

-Good condition with some faults as stated previously.
 -Working mechanical functions.
 -Roughly 27cm long, 21cm tall.

(See minutia in pictures, as these form part of the description.)
