Vintage Still Life Original Painting Three Glass Bottles

All of the art work and collectibles being sold by Adams-Byrd Fine Art & Antiques have been collected and selected one at a time by the proprietor, an art historian with many years of training and experience in university art history departments, museums, galleries, and historic sites both in the U.S. and abroad.  The business has been based in the Washington, D.C. area for many years.  The art and collectibles that we are offering to eBay buyers are special and unique pieces that have been carefully “curated” by us.


This vintage original painting features three glass bottles (also vintage and/or antique).  In this close up view, the bottles are on a plain pale beige surface.  The rectilinear background is a geometric puzzle of multiple shades of beige/tan/brown.

The tall bottle at the left is dark green.  The small bottle at the right is dark brown.  In between these two curvy bottles is a rectangular gray/blue bottle with a quilted diamond pattern on its sides.

The painting is not signed.  We have not dismantled the backing to look for more information.

The paint surface is in very good condition.  There are a few small spots of paint loss just below the center bottle.

The pale wood vintage frame is in good condition.  It does have chips, dings, scratches, etc. from age and wear and tear.  If the next owner keeps it in this frame, it could be carefully spruced up with lemon oil.  There are some splits in the brown paper covering the back of the frame.  The frame is wired on the back for hanging.

Returns: To provide low pricing and a constant stream of quality merchandise, we are unable to accept returns for buyer remorse, buyer mistake or improper fit.  It takes time on both the buyer and seller’s ends and the whole process is much more fulfilling when we, the seller, provide comprehensive information about an item and you, the buyer, carefully read and consider that information before making the decision to buy.

 

Payment: For auction items, payment is expected within 3 days of purchase.  After 4 days, an unpaid item case may be opened with eBay so that the item can be relisted or second chance offers may be made to other bidders.  We require immediate payment for Buy it Now items.

 

Shipping: We aim to ship within 3 business days of receiving payment, however delays may occur – in the event of a delay, we will update you on the progress of your shipment.  We always ship with delivery confirmation / tracking.
