Items are individually graded and pictured.

EXCELLENT: minimal wear from normal usage, with no major flaws.  Note that an EXCELLENT rating does not mean mint or perfection, but that the overall collection of flaws are minor and not obvious when the mat is looked at.  Very minimal or no soiling.

VERY GOOD: more typical wear, visible immediately.  No major structural damage, such as a crack or cut.  May have small dents resulting from play, but no major denting nor overall warping.  Color is vibrant with no major rub off or discoloration.  Some soiling, but not enough to detract from the overall appearance of the playing surface (back side, which is a blank when new, may have heavier soiling).

GOOD: some more flaws, with some major blemishes.  May have excessive denting, patches of damaged color, or some out of plane warping.  Soiling may be extensive, detracting noticeably from the overall appearance of the playing surface.  May have small amounts of clear tape.

ACCEPTABLE: High wear or damage, still suitable for play, but with many visible flaws.  Soiling may be extensive, detracting noticeably from the overall appearance of the playing surface.  May have clear tape.

A note on soiling: some of these have finger marks or other types of incidental marking.  I have found that printed surface is fragile and easy to damage when cleaning, so I have not attempted to clean any mat, leaving it to the buyer to decide if worth trying.  Thus the soiling you may see on any of these mats probably aren’t permanent, and likely can be removed with gentle cleaning.
