This 1924-1929 Art Deco era Sheaffer OVERSIZE flat-top fountain pen is jade green Radite – a color that, as you know, after a century is found in many varying shades of green from lime to forest – a toning characteristic of antique jade Sheaffers – nearly unavoidable and beautiful in it’s naturally time-developed appearance. Incidentally this was the first plastic pen to be introduced to the public and it caused a revolution in the pen industry. The big pen is 5 3/8” capped with no chips or cracks, no digs or bites – the cap opening is ½”. The Fort Madison, Iowa  imprint is complete and strong   -  the Gold Filled trim is good, wear only to the very top edge and ball of the clip, bands and lever very good. The pen is a White Dot special – the large Sheaffer LIFETIME 14K Gold nib is a Medium Firm with lots of iridium – beautiful nib. A Sheaffer classic  -  ALL our pens are sold as acquired from local estates, Untested  -  buyer pays 5.95 safe bubble shipping and tracking in USA
