Greenway’s APD Degreaser is the strongest degreaser we currently have to offer.  APD is an excellent degreaser for the person looking to clean the dirtiest of grime on the exterior of the vehicle.  Use on tires, wheel wells, engines, heavy machinery, undercarriages and more.

APD is one of the most concentrated degreasers in the industry period!  With actual working dilution ratios of 30:1 (4.1 ounces of product to 123.9 ounces of water: 1 total gallon). APD is one of the most effective degreasers available on the market today.

This degreaser is a favorite among auto detailers who operate a business to help save chemical cost, heavy equipment operators and everything in between.  APD can be sprayed onto many wet surfaces and allowed to dwell 1-5 minutes before rinsing is needed (make sure to avoid direct use in sun if allowing to dwell for a period of time, drying of product is highly NOT recommended).

APD should never be used on the interior of a vehicle or where rinsing is not applicable. Failure to rinse APD off the surface, will allow APD to continue to work which can damage the exterior surface and attract additional dirt quicker.

APD must be diluted before use with no exceptions. Gloves and protective clothing should be worn to avoid any of the concentrate getting on your skin.

How to Use:

Always make sure area to be cleaned is cool to the touch. Never spray APD onto a hot surface or staining/damage will most likely can occur.

Allow product to dwell 30 seconds to approximately 5 minutes depending on your removal choice. For rinse-free applications, a longer dwell time is necessary. For brush applications, 30 seconds to 1 minute is adequate.

Always use a chemical resistant brush. Using a non-chemical resistant brush will be deteriorated by the power of APD. The bristles might fold and be removed from the plastic block.

Rinse thoroughly with water. 

Tech Tip:

Having a couple different mixture strengths of APD is advised. This can be easily accomplished by using our high quality dilution bottles with dilution marking ratios. This will allow quick transition between strength levels during a detail job.
