Description

This exquisite antique ceramic bowl is a rare example of Islamic artistry from the Mamluk period in Syria, dating back to the 13th century AD (597 AH – 700 AH). The bowl's rounded conical shape and low-splayed foot indicate the period's distinct style. The bowl's body is adorned with an intricate design, covered in a rich turquoise green and brown glaze with splashes of other shades. Its unique color scheme, pattern, and historical significance make this bowl a remarkable piece of art.

CONDITION: It has a lovely patina and shows signs of age and use. There are no cracks or repairs except for a chip on the rim.
