Contents: 99.6% Pure technical grade Sodium Carbonate Light Fine Powder

“Dyeing methods” for use of this Dye Fixer. 

Soda Ash - Dye Fixer is an important scouring and fixing agent for use to rinse materials ready for dyeing.  It helps fix colours and enhance the overall effect of the dyes, particularly Procion MX Fibre Dyes to cellulosic materials.  It is helpful to use before mordanting fibres prior to using natural plant based dyes for scouring.  Also necessary to maintain alkaline conditions in Indigo dye vats.

WARNING: May be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Causes irritation to the eyes. 

Avoid contact with eyes. Wear eye protection when handling. Do not ingest or inhale.  If in contact with eyes occurs flush with plenty of water.  Remove contact lenses if worn and continue rinsing. If swallowed, give water or milk.  Seek medical assistance immediately if in contact with eyes, inhaled or ingested.
