Delicious 51 (Cucumis melo) is your typical sweet cantaloupe melon with ribbed orange flesh. Introduced in 1953, this heirloom is known to be disease resistant. Very tasty and aromatic, they tend to grow to 6" around and 2-3 lbs. These melons thrive in heat, so do not plant until the soil temp has reached 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit
