Up for your consideration a Vintage Brass Eagle Mirror with the Federal shield
with 13 stars and smaller upper mirror.
Back of frame has a casting date of Patented design on November 25 th 1862.
This frame is believe to be made by Virginia Metal Crafters in the early 60's,
-A replica of the original patented in 1862.
-Entire frame is one solid cast of solid brass
-Frame measure 19'' tall x 11'' wide
-Larger lower mirror is oval in shape and measure 8-1/2'' X 6-3/4'' visible
-Smaller upper mirror is 2'' x 1-1/2''
-Actual weight is 6 lb 7 oz
-Brass frame has some naturally aged patina and some original lacquer finish
over brass is faded.May need to be cleaned and re lacquered if desire,or
left alone in original condition,looks great.
-Back has brass chain for wall hanging
-Mirrors are secure by screwed brass clips,

The soft warm original finish is present with no buffing or machine polishing.
