Do you need to descale an espresso machine? With regular use of our citric-acid-based descaler, the coffee continues to taste well, the machine retains its speed, and you extend the life of your espresso or pod-coffee machine! Manufacturers recommend descaling on the basis of lactic acid or citric acid, HG has both! Our espresso machine descaler based on citric acid is enough for descaling 6 times.

How do you use HG descaler for espresso & pod-coffee machines

Complete the following steps to use HG descaler for espresso & pod-coffee machines

  1. Pour 75ml of HG descaler for espresso & pod-coffee machines into the water reservoir and top it up to 750ml water (10 times diluted). Leave this solution to work for 10 minutes
  2. Switch the machine on and let half of the espresso machine descaler run through. Switch the machine off and leave the product to work for 10 minutes and then let the rest of the liquid run through until the reservoir is completely empty
  3. After treatment, rinse the machine at least 3 times with clean tap water
  4. For a pod-coffee machine, you can place a holder with a used coffee pod in the machine to capture any scale. This prevents any blockages in the outflow

Shipping

Most orders are with you within 1-3 working days.

We aim to dispatch all other orders within 1-2 working day of receiving cleared funds (Monday to Friday). We occasionally list products which are special order items and therefore dispatch time will be slightly longer, if this is the case then we will contact you to advise of the expected delivery date.

An express delivery option is available on selected items. If your order is placed before 1 pm (Monday to Friday) and is in stock, items will be sent the same day and delivered within 2 working days (for some out of areas postcodes, deliveries might take slightly longer).

PLEASE NOTE: All deliveries are made by courier and will require a signature. Please ensure someone is present to sign for the item. Should the item be returned to us we will have to charge for re-delivery.

We run an automated ordering system so please ensure your correct shipping address is selected on the PayPal / eBay checkout as we can only send to the address that comes through. This is an eBay policy.

For orders cancelled after despatch, you must follow our returns procedure. You are responsible for both the outgoing and return postage costs.

Orders Delayed/Missing in Transit

We promise we'll do everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the time-frame specified. Occasionally events beyond our control may result in your parcel being delayed whilst it is with the courier and we cannot be held responsible for such delays.

All parcels are fully insured and if your parcel is lost or delayed, let us know and we'll act quickly to locate it, bearing in mind the points below. All claims for missing items must be made within 24hours of the date you receive the order.

What do I do if I have not received my delivery?

Please call us or send a message via eBay messages and we'll get back to you quickly with a response and tracking information.

What happens if I'm not at home to accept delivery?

If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. To re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect the parcel, please follow the instructions on the card.

Returns

IMPORTANT: PLEASE SEND RETURNED GOODS VIA RECORDED DELIVERY ONLY.

If goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in case the goods are lost or not received, we cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained.

For faulty items, we will either replace the product with the same or offer a refund should the product no longer be available.

Non-Faulty Goods

If you change your mind about your purchase you may return it to us unopened at your own expense within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or store credit; after 28 days we do not accept returns. We do not accept returns for non-faulty unwanted items in any circumstance if they have been opened/unsealed. No returns? authorization code is required but ensure the item is packaged securely and the returns form is included. Please send the item back via Recorded Delivery - if goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in case the goods are lost or not received, we cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained.

Incorrect Item Returns
