Plastic peg is made from rigid high-strength polylactic acid
The button which holds the pivot pin in place within the parcel shelf housing is made from rubber on this item.
Note: the plastic buttons on the original Mini pegs are notorious for buckling inside the barrel (which is what happened to mine). The rubber button on this item (mounted inside) avoids this problem - it simply cannot snap.
