Being offered is a 19th century gentleman's riding crop circa 1850 or 1830.
Made of wood & sterling silver and inlaid with colored glass or semi-precious stone and Bolivian & Spanish coins with hand-made silver animals to include a lion, horse, chicken, bull & deer. Coins are hard to read due to wear but one is dated 1850 or 1830. Silver is hand-chased and animals completed by an artistic & able silversmith. See photos.
A high quality piece that would make a nice addition to any collection. Purchased in Bolivia in the 1960s.
Condition is used but excellent with wear consistent with age.
