August, 1941. The train driver Tolovac was elected by the Party of Railwaymen from Belgrade to accompany Comrade Crno to Kraljevo, where he was to take a bag with documents from the General Staff. Black is killed during a raid on the Belgrade train station. Black's last words were the password he told Tolovac. Now Tolovac is left to itself, in the train going to Kraljevo. The trip is full of uncertainty, as the Germans and the police are trying to find a man carrying a bag and who, as they were informed, is in a railway uniform.
