The fabric cover and cushions are made from polyester and provide some protection from the weather. While this swing chair can withstand the elements, it is recommended the chair is covered or moved inside during bad weather or through long periods when the chair isn’t being used (for example, during winter). By protecting your Luna chair, you can extend its lifespan, avoid rust and mould and keep the swing seat looking new. The polyester and steel construction of the chair makes the Luna seat easy to maintain. The Jarder Team recommends waterproofing the fabric cover to prevent and repel rain, dirt and mildew by using a product such as outdoor furniture waterproofer sprays.
