Original US 9th Army Patch
Established in 1944 until 1945, the Ninth Army saw action in France and Germany during WW2. The field army was reactivated in 2012, and oversees multiple units, including 1st Infantry Division, 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion, and United States Army Africa Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion.
The patch is an nonagon shape - it has 9 sides. The background is red, and the letter 'A' in white is featured in the centre.
The patch measures 6cm x 6cm.
