How To Measure Up Openings

All of our products come with an expandable frame! The measurements you see above are of the frame at its smallest and then the second measurement what it can wind out too. When measuring your opening we would ask you to measure the width from brick to brick (or point to point of structural opening if not installing to brick) and then from the floor to the top.

The Hinges are always viewed from the outside of the building - So if you want a door to be hinged on the right from the outside! Choose Right!

In terms of opening direction, again viewed from the outside. Opening outward would open towards you, and inward away from you. We would always recommend our doors to open outwards for increased security and weather protection. Our inward opening doors are reverse of the outward - So a left hinge inward opening door is a right hinge outward opening and vice versa. We supply these with the opposite handle set so when you install you will spin the door 180 degrees in the opening.

It is always recommended to allow 10mm tolerance for ease of install.

How To Install Into Openings

When you receive the door from us it will be palleted stood up on a A Frame. (For orders over 3, these will come lay flat for safety.) We recommend having two people to install or least another on hand for the heavy lifting.

Once the door is checked over and ready to install you will have the cylinder and keys in the top of the door frame, your handle box which will contain the following:

Handle Spindle Bar

1. Lift The Door Of The Lift Off Hinges.
2. Marry The Frame Up To The Opening You Have.
3. Wind out the frame to what you need with the jacking bolts. Using either a large screwdriver or 11mm Allen key.
4. Drill through the hollow jacking bolts into your opening and fix through the jacking bolts with a washer.
5. Lift the door back on the lift off hinges. Checking the gap is equal round the door.
6. Slide the cylinder into the lock casing and fit the retaining screw. Fit the escutcheons over the cylinder not overtightening as could jam the lock.
7. Fix the 2 screw connectors to the outside handle. Insert the spindle into the handle. Then secure the handle with the two remaining screws.
8. You have now fully installed the door!
