These hand sculpted Maasai figures represent leaders in the Maasai tribe.  This old man with a walking stick represents the hunter, warrior and protector, usually an elder in the tribe.  It is carved out of blackened teakwood.  

It stands 14 3/4" high, and is in excellent condition.
