PIKE/PREDATOR FLY

Fluro green and gold back baitfish

6/0 Japanese circle hook

All flies come in a reusable sealable bag

Circle hooks are fantastic , when you feel a hit just keep the rod pointed at the fly and hold your fly line , as the fish turns the hook will set 99% of the time in the jawline , no striking needed , the fish litterly hook themselves , very underused method and you get more fish on the bank with less deep hooking because of the hook design

(These flies can be cast on lure rods ideal for smaller venues like canals or small still waters if you need extra weight just use a clip on weight or a couple off BB shot at the back end of the trace and fish sink and draw style)

CUSTOM BLENDED
Back is custom blended with 3 types of materials including a subtle yellow angelhair

8 to 9 inch
the fly weighs on average between 0.6 grm and 1.1 grm so a large mobile fly with not a lot of weight and great to cast all day ,these flies are also great for drifting on rivers due to there lightweight design can be paused and twitched in the current

how to fish them

best methods for fishing these is slowly with small pinches of the fly line followed by a quick strip and a pause , if the fish dont respond then try a figure of 8 retrieve find out what the best trigger is , everyday is different these have a fairly slow sink rate which is great for searching out fish in different water layers , these flies are designed for maximum movement in the water and are very lightweight for there size due to the construction Technique ........make em dance

sea angling with daves flies

there is a couple of ways to do this and to do it very successfully as well , the first is to use a carp controller float and cast out and retrieve very slowly (use one fly or a team) this is a particularly deadly method over snaggy kelpy ground as you can fish just above the kelp for devastating pollock attacks , or drift in estuarys with slight pauses to raise the fly in the current this is deadly for bass.

you can also attach a cherub weight to the flys and fish them off the rocks or piers (deadly) and no bait digging needed

boat angling

daves flies can also be deadly for cod and other wreck species , simply use a 3 dropper rig and lower down and then jig as you would perk fishing the takes can be very violent fish love em . or you can use a boom and an eddystone eel rig with a long flowing trace simply replace the eel with a fly .

(ALL ASSOCIATED CATCH PICTURES HAVE BEEN CAUGHT ON DAVES FLIES , PROOF IS IN THE EATING )

Daves go to patterns and each fly come in its own ziplock bag so keeps wet flies separate from others especially handy for saltwater trips . ?

*these flies are also saltwater friendly and great for bass or any fish that predate on other fish
