For your consideration is a handsome wheel thrown and hand built TEAPOT in the style of the ART NOUVEAU / ARTS AND CRAFTS PERIOD.  It was crafted by a master potter from San Diego, California, DAVID CUZICK.  Mr. Cuzick is the past president of the San Diego Potters Guild and has taught ceramics at 4 different colleges and universities for almost 50 years.  This Teapot is much more complex than the usual Arts and Crafts piece in that the body has been exquisitely modified by hand into the shape of a stylized squash with beautiful details.  The color is a William Grueby Green which is very characteristic of the Art Nouveau or Arts and Crafts period.  The handle appears to be inter-twined vines and the bottom is nicely textured with a stippled pattern. The title of this piece is 'GREEN TEA FOR TWO'.  It is in perfect condition and in this case Mr. Cuzick forgot to sign it.  This is a very dynamic piece and is 9 3/4" High x 4 3/4" Diameter.  (Photos 4 - 12 are some other listings I have showing more pieces by David Cuzick).   (3 - 662)
