From the Manufacturer PanaVise 343 nylon jaws are replacement jaws for use with the PanaVise 303 standard vise head, the 304 low-profile head, and the 301 and 381 vise combinations. Jaws are composed of "6/6" nylon. "6/6" nylon has a particularly long molecular chain consisting of 12 carbon atoms that result in very dense and resilient fiber. This density allows for a firm, yet gentle hold and provides excellent electrical insulation properties. PanaVise 343 nylon jaws also possess a significantly high melting point for a synthetic fiber, with a continuous heat tolerance to 200 degrees F (93 degrees C) and an intermittent heat tolerance to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). This means that a reasonable amount of heat can be used during vise applications without the need to change jaw pads. Jaws come in pairs and include two mounting screws.
