Antique yacht Signal Salute Cannon By L.T Snow New Haven Conn USA. Local pickup only.

Here is a very unique antique breech loading signal Cannon by L T Snow. Has been highly restored and refurbished for it's current yacht of the 1950s in the art deco Chrome Style.. perhaps this cannon was originally nickel-plated... when I originally saw the Cannon I assumed the elevated base was aftermarket but when the original canvas cover was seen I knew it must be Factory because every Cannon came with one of these custom taylored canvas covers..

The cannon also had a higher quality and more functional firing pin release mechanism built and fit for chrome plating which is actually very nice.

The family name and Yacht information will be supplied,  it was yacht Loaf a Long I believe they were in the baking supply business

There is just a slight Trace of the manufacturers markings left atop of the breech before it was prepped to be re chromed I can try to take a picture but there is not much there but comparing it to another Cannon literally there may be 5% or less markings.

Update on a few photos I'm including two new reloadable brass 8 for cartridges and one 8 gauge to 10 gauge reducer. 10 gauge blanks are very readily available

Also photo showing Precision cast trunnion caps two-piece upper and lower design. Also something interesting about this cannon that I've never seen before , I believe I found a batch or dated stamping on the back of the cast wheel attaching washers, all 4.. appears to be 20 which would be the 1920s which is possible this was the last of these cannons I do believe they were making them in the Roaring Twenties LT snow brand

Price increase due to recent auction results, also realizing the best of the best with the options the base the restored condition the cover the provenance all ads percentages to its value , also eBay costs
