Tips for new beaders:
The 11/0 size seed bead is ~1.8mm to 2mm in size. The hole size is quite small. It will take a beadalon type stringing material of .015 through one pass. It will take a cord of .115mm or smaller through 2 passes with a size .024 beading needle with collapsible eye. You can also use Nymo thread sizes A, B, and D and size 12 English beading needles.
If you're getting beads on a hank, the best way I've found to use them is to hold the strands by the ends down low over a bowl. Cut the strands where they loop at the bottom and CAREFULLY empty the strands into the bowl. Pick out any stray pieces of string and then pour the beads back into their plastic bag.
