Welcome to the sale of a Sterling Silver Heavy Pendant with a Mixed Cut 8 x 6mm Oval Genuine Amethyst AAA Grade with a seriosly dark Amethyst Stone.  This pendant is cast as one piece, with only the bale being able to move freely, giving the pendant strength, it also has a Claw-set set stone.

This particular line has now been discontinued by us at Lu V.  These were sold through our network of retailers until we closed down our wholesale division, and are now selling to you directly.

These are now being offered at a reduced RRP (RRP £45.00 - 2019/20). Current Estimated RRP £59.00 Approx.  If you like dark Amethysts with a seriously vibrant depth of colour then this stone is for you.

We do want to clear down our stock of these items and to melt them down does not realise their true value, as a great deal of work has gone into making this pendant, and melting down will probably damage the stone making it unuseable again, and just give us back the scrap silver which will need to be refined before we can use it again.  Therefore we are offering it at a price which will cover all our manufacturing and selling costs, and give you a deal which will make you very happy.

I always try to post the same day if possible, but on rare occasions need to travel on business which can increase the date of  dispatch by up to 4 days. If it is important for you to know when the item will be posted, please contact before you purchase, and I will let you know the day of dispatch.

Apologies:  We have now added a contribution towards the ever increasing postal costs.

This is for the pendant only, a chain is added to the picture is simply to show how the chain attaches to the pendant and to give an idea how the finished pendant will look.

The total weight of the pendant is approx 1.6 grams, so in terms of pendants, is quite solid.
The pendant is set with an 8 x 6 mm Genuine Oval Mixed-cut Amethyst which has been Claw-set.
Height 20 mm (incl. Bale) x Width 8 mm
Sterling Silver (925 parts per 1000 or 92.5% pure - Other main constituent would be Copper). the pendant has a standard mark (925) and and our sponsor mark.
This pendant is made in our own factory and conforms to all UK hallmarking requirements. Please note we as a company are registered with the London Assay Office, and therefore comply with all the current laws.

The pendant has very low porosity, which means there are very few tiny air bubbles trapped in the casting. Too many air bubbles cause weakness within the pendant making it liable to break. Many manufacturers have to rhodium plate their stock to hide the poor finish, we never do. Our stock is only ever polished.

A couple of do's and don'ts
Always spray perfume/hairspray and allow to dry before putting on any jewellery. (This is the main cause of jewellery turning black)
The pendant is made using anti-tarnish silver, which will keep the silver colour for longer, but please when not being worn return it to the small cellophane bag that it was supplied in, as the tarnishing of silver is caused by exposure to the elements (pollution etc.), and the less it is exposed the longer it will stay looking good.
Do not use liquid cleaners (i.e. silver dip etc.) these leave a film on the surface and over time will damage the item.
A soft clean cloth is good, or for a special clean, use a silver cloth, many are for sale on Ebay, and most work very well. I tend to attach the cleaning cloth to a workbench/table-top or similar with a bulldog clip and holding the cloth tightly run the item into all the groves of the pendant. cleaning can be done in seconds that way.

The pendant is guaranteed for 12 months, and supplied with a gift pouchette.
