Drop-in replacement for F273786 Mr Heater POL Valve O-rings, fluorocarbon (FKM, equivalent to Viton, which is a trade name for fluorocarbon), Brown.

Compatible with propane/LP Gas applications

Made from fluorocarbon, equivalent to Viton (trade name for fluorocarbon), which is virtually impervious to chemical attack. It is also ozone and UV stable, so it will not crack or “dry rot” when installed on an exposed fitting for months at a time. Recommended temperature range for these O-rings is -15F to 400F.

Color is brown to distinguish them from nitrile and neoprene O-rings, which are usually black.

The state of North Carolina automatically charges a white goods tax for heating appliances and components. I have an alternate listing for this O-ring as a brown O-ring in SAE size 110. It is the same size and material, without the white goods tax.

It is recommended to check the O-ring before connecting the hose to your heater, and to replace the O-ring if it is cracked or damaged.

It is also recommended to check for any leaks after installation. A very quick and easy way to do this is to mix some water with a few drops of soap, and spray or pour it on the installed fitting to see if any bubbles come up.
