"Twiggy in Wiiggyland" rare Newsweek story.

TWIGGY cover portrait by Bert Stern.

At the very height of Twiggy mania she was featured in NEWSWEEK magazine.  This 5 page profile + the cover includes many rare images of the 1960's supermodel taken for Newsweek including a few by Bert Stern for Vogue & Newsweek. There are also rare photographs by Mel Sokolsky and Bert Stern.

Twiggy visited New York and was photographed in several places and interviewed by the media by several correspondents for this article, edited by Paul D. Zimmerman.

Justin De Villeneuve is also in one portrait and we see with Twiggy pictured with he full family and one sweet image of her as a 6 year old.

Very collectable for Twiggy fans and fans of model and 1960's pop culture.

Please also note this is the American version of Newsweek and it has a longer feature with more of the images in colour. There was an international copy that published some of these photos in B+W over fewer pages. This is a 5 page feature, it is 3 in the international copy.

Also inside -

Advance drawings of new American cars from Detroit including '68 Tornado, '68 Corvette, '69 Chervrolet. '68 Javelin.

Also includes photographs of Fords Mustang Mach I and the Plymouth Barracuda Formula SX.

114 pages. (The international version is 62 pages)

Excellent condition as shown.  There are some library stamps on the cover and on the back cover (the Ford ad) there is some writing. A very rare magazine indeed !
