Set of 4 Antique Rosenthal R&C Monbijou Plates with Water Lily/Lotus

pattern on a watery green background with cattails and dragonflies around

the border. They have scalloped edges with gold trim. 

Rosenthal Monjibou Bavaria crown and crossed swords mark used 1897-1907.

Size: They measure 9" across the back. Across the front closer to 8 3/4".

From a family collection they are in very nice condition with no chips nor cracks.

Commensurate with age and use, they do have some gold trim paint loss and 

some spots of the pale green have faded, which does not detract from these lovely plates.
