Some 2003 to 2006 Grand Am models had different wiring setups and/or a different motor (GM Stock Code 88956691), so check to see if your wiring harness will fit with this motor or that you don’t have the second motor option. Ensure you have the six prongs on the blue wiring connector prior to ordering. This is just the motor/gear drive assembly, also called the sunroof actuator. You will have to transfer your old wiring harness to this unit (some soldering required). If you require this same sunroof motor with all the necessary items in kit form (soldering iron, solder, flux, razor knife, tie wraps, adhesive strap downs, emery cloth, heat shrink tubing, identifying tabs, and complete instructions with drawings), then look for my Alero, Cavalier, Grand Am, Sunfire SUNROOF MOTOR KIT and order that instead.
